VIZCOM RENDERS

AI-assisted rendering. Concept to presentation.

The Vizcom × Zellerfeld Mule Challenge, and the clearest example of what AI-assisted rendering actually changed in this studio.

The mules being worn, photographed against the blue set with the design open on a tablet
The render was never the deliverable

The old order was: draw it, model it, render it, and only then find out whether it was any good. Vizcom collapses that, a sketch becomes a lit, material object in seconds, so the judgement that used to happen at the end now happens at the start, twenty times over, before anything is committed to geometry.

Legs and feet wearing the printed mules, mid-shoot

What came out was KOVA, a mule shaped by the early-2000s footwear era: a thick moulded body with a deep ribbed sole, printed and then actually worn. The photographs are the point of the whole method, the render was never the deliverable, the shoe was.
