BRUT SHADES PROCESS
From sketches to 3D to print, the making of BRUT SHADES

The frame that became BRUT SHADES was resolved on screen, in views: the same object turned through front, three-quarter, rear and top, over and over, at every stage of the geometry. What the sequence shows is how little changed once the profile was right, and how much time went into that profile.

The render on a figure is not a mood image, it is a check. A frame this wide reads completely differently at arm's length than it does at head height on a body, and the only way to know whether the proportion survives is to put it there before committing a print. Two full-length views, no styling, black on black, the frame is the only thing being judged.
