The mesh under the render

Wireframe side view of a head mesh in even quads with an eyewear frame drawn over it in gold
Six-panel sheet of wireframe views: head front, dimensioned frame, frame front, head profile, head from above, temple profile
Every view in one sheet

A frame modelled against a head. The head is a subdivision cage, even quads running around the skull, tightening where the surface has to turn at the eye and the ear. The frame sits on it in gold.

A second six-panel wireframe sheet showing a squarer frame fitted to the same head mesh

The whole point of the exercise is contact: where the pads meet the nose, how far the temples clear the ear, whether 130.60 mm of front width is still 130.60 on a face or only in a drawing. The dimensioned views answer that in millimetres.

Front wireframe of an eyewear frame on a pale grey ground, every edge of the mesh visible

Nothing here is meant to be looked at. Orthographic views, wireframe display, no materials, no light. It is the layer underneath every render in the archive, shown once with the surfaces switched off.
