DEBANDADA × BOJOR
A wearable art piece, the first collaboration
A black canvas kapot from Debandada, hand-customised into a single wearable piece: the studio's invented signs drawn in gold across the whole garment, constellations of them running over the shoulders and down the front until the coat reads like a night sky someone has been writing on.
It was the first collaboration the studio ever did, in 2021, and the first time the marks left paper. The same vocabulary that fills HYELTW? and pierces TOTEM is here on cloth, at body scale, which turned out to suit it, the signs move when the wearer does.
