CRYPTOMERSIVE VR
Six minutes, five metres, and a way in

A moving work in gold and blue, about six minutes long, with sound. Forms open out of the centre and fall back into it, sometimes a column, sometimes a burst, sometimes a symmetrical figure that holds for a moment and comes apart. It does not tell a story. It asks whether there is an order underneath the visible one, and then it behaves as if there is.

It was shown twice in 2021. First on a five by five metre LED wall at the Espronceda Institute of Art and Culture in Barcelona, in June, where it was also produced. Then in July at Raima 1986, during the solo show with Art Lover Ground, in a long brick room where the audience stood in the dark and watched it end to end.

The screen is only one of its two bodies. The same work can be entered in virtual reality, where the camera is yours and the forms surround you instead of facing you. Both were offered as a commission at the time.

Started in 2020 and branched into several results after it. This is the one that went on a wall.
