ART LOVER GROUND

Art Lover Ground picked thirty artists for a two-day event at Nau Bostik, the old glue factory in the Sagrera. Ovidiu is on the selection poster under mixed media. The first invitation arrived in August 2020 for a September date; the show that actually happened ran 27 and 28 March 2021.
What he brought was a large black panel with notches cut into its edges, like a giant ticket, white and red strokes across the top, a knot of loose scribbled line falling through the middle.
Two photographs of it exist and they work as a pair. One in the studio, barefoot on concrete, holding the panel upright against a white wall. One at the venue, the panel mounted beside a pillar, the crowd behind him.
