3D CYBORGS × PRIMAL

A black figure standing against a burnt-orange planet, drawn head to shoulder in gold wire. The mouth is a knot of loops, the headdress falls in beaded strands, and the jacket carries the same handwriting stitched in gold across both shoulders.

It was made in Primal Lab for 3D Cyborgs, a character project by Frank Square and Kurzick. Ovidiu took their world and put his own hand on it, the black-and-gold vocabulary he was building all through that year, filigree laid over sculpted mass.

Posted 28 March 2022, ahead of a May drop on OpenSea. One of a run of collaborations where other collections handed him their character and asked what it would look like made Primal.
