A frame with something inside it. SPIN OS needed a chip housed in the temple, which turns an eyewear brief into a packaging problem: find room for a rigid component in the one part of a frame that has to flex, and hide it well enough that nobody reads the object as a gadget.

The answer was to thicken the temple gradually rather than add a housing, the swell starts at the hinge and tapers away toward the ear, so the volume reads as design rather than as accommodation. The wireframe studies exist because that placement had to be argued for in millimetres before anything could be printed.
