The MXLLA showroom launch, December 2024, the first time the studio's work was shown in Asia, alongside other designers rather than alone.

It reads differently from Paris. In a showroom you are one of many names on a rail, and the frames have to hold their own next to work that has nothing to do with them. BRUT SHADES did, mostly because the shape is loud enough to survive a crowded room and plain enough not to date.

A step into the international circuit, and the evening the eyewear stopped being a European object.
