LOVECHAINER

LOVECHAINER is BOJOTOY's opposite in every decision. Where that one is white, silent and featureless, this one is red, wide-eyed and covered in eyes, a hooded figure whose hood sprouts four horns, each carrying its own eye, and whose chest holds a heart it grips with both hands.

The repetition is the story. The same eye appears on the horns, the boots and the hood, so the character reads as watched from every direction while holding the one thing it wants to protect. It is deliberately childlike in form and slightly uneasy in detail, the register the studio keeps returning to in its collectible work.

Designed to be produced in a run rather than alone: lined up, the small differences between them become the piece.
